Bookings & Enquiries: 

Our office number is: 03 540-3903 and we operate standard business hours. Please feel free to ring and leave a message outside of this time.

 (Use our email address with confidence at any time but please - do not use for same day requests).

What We Need From You: 

We are only able to care for the children of your family. If you have other children staying over then please ring and discuss this with the office in advance – there are legal and social limitations as to what we can or cannot do. 

You need to ensure that your caregiver has been given up to date emergency contact details before you leave (we recommend that you use the front of your phone book and show them).

Please advise us if there are likely to be other adults present in the house e.g. flatmates or work from home parents.

Please let our caregivers know how to make themselves a cup of tea or coffee and instruct them should you need them to take care of any meal preparations. It is expected that if a caregiver is there during a meal time that you will have provided for them also.

Every family is different – please ensure that you take the time to communicate with the caregiver in regards to bed times, food and drink expectations / allowances etc.

The primary responsibility of the caregiver is the safety and well being of your children and your home. They are generally NOT responsible for doing your housework unless by prior agreement with the office.

Protocol:

The value of the service is dependent on the trust and integrity of all who use it.

Our team members are instructed not to give their phone number out to clients nor to take bookings directly. There are various reasons for this – not least of which is the safety of those involved and the undermining of the value of the services we are able to offer our families. 

In all cases, families must ensure that they contact the office to organise bookings (with the only exception being where a family has paid a placement fee for a direct relationship with a caregiver).

Please be fair - a failure to abide by the policy guidelines of the agency will result in a termination of work for the caregiver as well as the refusal of services to families. 

Payments:

Payments are to be made in advance or on a cash basis directly to the caregiver at the end of each booking. We are unable to accept cheques without prior arrangements.

This payment will include any relevant booking fee. 

If you wish to use other forms of payments then administration fees may be applicable – please discuss with our office.

Cancellations: 

Cancellation fees are rarely charged however in fairness to the caregivers and our service the following circumstances will require the payment of a cancellation fee:

· Same day cancellation
· Second or subsequent cancellations
· Where extra effort and organization has been made on behalf of the family.
